AMMPE establishes alliance with UN Women Chile
A delegation from the Worldwide Association of Women Journalists and Writers met with the head of the UN Women office in Chile, Graciela Rosero, to explore a rapprochement between the two institutions and initiate joint work on issues of common interest.

One of the issues addressed was the role of the media in the gender gap and, in particular, the UN Women forum on unbiased headlines.
It was also agreed to work together to ensure the presence of UN Women at the AMMPE World Congress to be held in Punta Arenas next year.
AMMPE was represented at the meeting by Elia Simeone, president; and Eliana Jiménez, secretary general. Graciela Rosero was joined by Marisel Soterel, in charge of Programs, and Diana Leal, in charge of Communications.
