AMMPE participates in First Feminist Foreign Policy Meeting
Poet and Journalist Grecia Aguilera and Ana María de Eskenasy, president of AMMPE Guatemala Chapter were present at the “First Meeting of Feminist Foreign Policy” organized by the Embassies of Chile, Mexico, Canada, Spain and France in Guatemala.
This conclave was held at the Rafael Landívar University through the Vice Rectory of University Identity and the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences on Thursday, March 27 at the San Francisco de Borja Campus Auditorium, with the presence of the Diplomatic Corps, Academy, AMMPE Guatemala and invited personalities, as well as students of related careers. More than 300 people attended the event.
Parte de los temas desarrollados se orientaron a la creación de sociedades más inclusivas, liderazgo de la mujer, el éxito de la mujer en el área de producción. Asimismo, diplomacia feminista, el tema feminista contribuye a disminuir la violencia contra la mujer, el foro Generación Igualdad en Francia, Laboratorio en Línea contra la violencia contra la mujer, brecha salarial, entre otros temas.
