"Gabriela Mistral” Literary Chronicle Contest for university students in Chile and Argentina
The Worldwide Association of Women Journalists and Writers (AMMPE World) and the team of the Excellence Journalism Award of the Padre Alberto Hurtado University launched the “Gabriela Mistral” literary chronicle contest for journalism or literature students from Chile and Argentina.
“You, as teachers or professional journalists, must know more than one journalism or literature student, to whom you can tell about this contest. The idea is that they send their work before July 1 and participate,” said AMMPE's secretary general, Eliana Jiménez de la Jara, in a public communication sent to the faculties and to well-known press professionals.
The works must be inspired by the work and themes that impassioned the Nobel Prize in Literature.
The winners of the first three places will travel to Punta Arenas to participate in the XXV World Congress of Women Journalists and Writers (September 23-27, 2024), an international event in which the contest will be awarded.
