Nidia “Nily” Povedano has left us
With such regret, I have to inform you about the death of our colleague and former AMMPE president (2006-2010) Nidia “Nily” Povedano, who died a couple of days ago in her birthplace, Argentina.
Nily was president of the Directorate of the newspaper Rio Negro and worked actively for the institutional strenghthening, the freedom of expression, the citizenship building and the transversal gender perspective.
We agree with the colleagues of the newspaper Rio Negro, who said expressively, after knowing about Nily’s death: “we will miss her worthy, intense and supportive work”.
