Speaker:Carlos A. Scolari, Professor in Theory and Analysis of Interactive Digital Communication in the Department of Communication at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra-Barcelona, where he coordinates the PhD Program in Communication (2018-2023).

 Speaker: Speaker: Dr. Jéssica Retis, Director of the School of Journalism at the University of Arizona, USA Dr. Jessica Retis took over as Director of the School of Journalism in July 2022. She holds a B.A. in Communications (Universidad de Lima, Peru), an M.A. in Latin American Studies (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México) and a Ph.D. in Contemporary Latin America (Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain). Before entering academia, Retis worked for more than two decades as a journalist in Peru, Mexico and Spain in various print and broadcast media.

Panelist: Panelist: Luz Márquez de la Plata C. Journalist and Master in Social Communication, mention in Communication and Education. With an extensive career in the media, she has dedicated the last few years to teaching and university management. In the latter field, she became Vice Rector of Communications and Continuing Education at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. She currently serves as Director of Journalism at the Faculty of Communications at the UC and teaches the course Comparative Analysis of Journalism. 

 Panelist: Panelist: José Miguel Labrin, director del Instituto de la Comunicación e Imagen de la Universidad de Chile. Es periodista de la Universidad de Chile. Doctor en Comunicación, Cambio Social y Desarrollo por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Es también candidato a Doctor en Antropología Social por la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. En la Universidad de Chile realizó el Magíster en Antropología y Desarrollo de la Facultad de Ciencias Sociales. 

 Speaker: Speaker: Sandra González-Bailón,Professor of Communication at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia (USA) where she directs the Center for the Study of Information Networks and Democracy (cind.asc.upenn.edu). He received his PhD in Sociology from the University of Oxford (UK), after completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Barcelona (Spain). His research and teaching focus on the impact of digital technologies on social and political life. She has published numerous articles in prestigious scientific journals such as Science, PNAS and Nature (among others). She is the author of Decoding the Social World (MIT Press, 2017) and co-editor of the Oxford Handbook of Networked Communication (OUP, 2020). She is currently writing a popular book on the political impact of networked technologies (with journalist Jordi Pérez Colomé).

Panelist: Panelist: Magdalena Browne Monckeberg: Dean of the School of Communications at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. She is a Journalist and Sociologist at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. She holds a Master's degree in Media & Communication from the London School of Economics.
