AMMPE meets with Chilean Foreign Affairs Minister
A relaxed meeting was held between the board of the World Association of Women Journalists and Writers (AMMPE World) and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Chile, Alberto van Klaveren Stork.
The meeting took place on Monday, March 25 at the ministerial office and there the president of AMMPE World, Elia Simeone, expressed her gratitude that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has promptly given its sponsorship to the XXV World Congress of Women Journalists and Writers to be held between September 23 and 27 in Punta Arenas, Chile.
The meeting was also attended by Graciela Ibáñez, AMMPE's world vice-president; Eliana Jiménez de la Jara, AMMPE's secretary general; and María Teresa Maluenda, AMMPE's international officer.
