Sernatur invited to share the experience with the world
In the context of World Tourism Day, which is commemorated on September 27, Víctor Román, director of Sernatur Magallanes, highlighted the importance of the recent Congress of Women Journalists and Writers Ammpe 2024, which brought together nearly 150 prominent women writers from around the world.
“I want to begin by thanking you for the opportunity to be part of the history that is being forged around these exceptional women who have accompanied us throughout this week. I also want to express my gratitude to the team of the Regional Directorate of Sernatur for the hard work they have done. This has been a great challenge for us, but we are very satisfied with the results of the Congress,” said Román.
The director of Sernatur emphasized the importance of holding these human encounters, which are meaningful and allow ideas to be shared, as well as to continue moving forward together. New initiatives were launched during the congress, which highlights the sense of belonging and proactivity of the attendees.
Román also underscored the value of collaborative work, essential for overcoming the major challenges faced. “This achievement would not have been possible without the support and coordination of everyone involved,” he said.
Finally, she invited congress participants and the community to share their experiences through social networks, using the hashtags #AMMPE2024 and #yosoyammpe. “We want these experiences not to remain only at the event. Let's use digital platforms to continue connecting, sharing and promoting the great attributes of the Magallanes Region, which are a clear example of what can contribute to the experience of visitors motivated by this type of event,” concluded Víctor Román.
